the vulnerable

Scripture reveals that God is a constant champion for the weakest and most vulnerable among us. He calls us to join His passionate

cause. In St. Joseph, and around the world, there are kids without champions. Whether they are truly orphaned or their families are in a

crisis, they need champions to foster, adopt or give support to their families while they find better footing.

Wellspring is committed to raising, equipping and supporting true champions who will answer this call. We do this through CarePortal and the

support of foster care and adoption.

care portal

CarePortal brings the needs of hurting children and families in our community to our attention and gives us the invitation and opportunity to respond. This is a wonderful way to meet practical needs in our community while also building relationships with others that will bless all parties involved. foster care, Adoption & all in ministry

Scripture reminds us that we all arrive in this world as spiritual orphans in desperate need of God’s rescue. This spiritual reality

influences our desire to be deep in the trenches with vulnerable kids and families. It is our mission to provide meaningful assistance

to the families in our church who respond to this calling.

Wellspring maintains an All In Ministry to assist families who adopt or foster by coordinating a support group, prayer support,

meals, financial assistance and mentors. We seek to provide educational opportunities, medical support and other resources.

We also assist with finding grants and advice on everything from transitioning to travel. There are even volunteers in place to run a quick

errand to the grocery store or pharmacy. Our coordinators work to make sure each family is receiving the support and care they need

for their own unique journey. If you would like to learn more about our All In Ministry, please contact Marissa Purvis
