BOARD

From the beginning, we have valued keeping church simple and vision driven. The Wellspring Advisory Board is currently made up of 7 members. Board members serve a 3-year minimum term, with options to continue as God leads. The Board meets monthly with the Lead Pastor and Associate Pastor to discuss issues relating to our vision and values as a church. Human resources, financial and property oversight, and staff care are our primary responsibilities. Wellspring operates as a Board-protected and Staff-directed mission. All daily ministry activities of the church are directed by our Lead Pastor. New Board members are nominated and approved by current Board members. The process of Board selection is prayerful, identifying people with spiritual and emotional maturity, who are living out our values and vision with capacity to give time and energy to the work of the Board. Decisions are made by consensus rather than majority vote.

My family has been a part of Wellspring since 2006 and I have served on the board off and on for most of that time. My husband Rob and I have four grown sons and now two new daughters in law. We have grown up in our faith through our years at Wellspring and have experienced transformation in community like we never could have imagined.  I am a registered nurse, birth doula and childbirth educator and love walking with moms and families through all things birth related. I also love music, playing the piano, reading all kinds of books, going on long walks and hikes and spending time with the family!!

I've been so blessed to spend most of my adult life at Wellspring. My wife Samantha and I began attending Wellspring when we started dating. We got married here and have dedicated all four of our sons here. It's been 14 years, and we love serving in different ways; children's, men's and women's ministries, worship team and the board. We also cherish our family time enjoying road trips, adventures and everything outdoors.

My husband Devon and I are founding members of Wellspring.  We've been super encouraged to watch our church grow and impact so many lives in our city.  When I'm not serving on the church advisory board, I love sweating with my fitness community, reading all sorts of books and volunteering to support all the healing and transformation happening at Sisters of Solace.
