I have served as the Lead Pastor of Wellspring since its inception in 2006. My typical week as a pastor, if there is such a thing, includes studying and sermon preparation, guiding and encouraging our staff, counseling those in need, developing and maintaining relationships, and working alongside our Advisory Board and staff to provide leadership and direction for the future of Wellspring. I met my wife, Kristin, when we were both students at Missouri State University. We were married on July 18, 1992. We have 4 children: Zac, Kylie, Kenzie and Zavier.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Missouri State University (1991)
Master’s Degree in Guidance Counseling from Central Missouri State University (1998)
Master’s Degree in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary (2010)
Hobbies/Interests:
I love coaching my children and currently serve as the Head Cross Country Coach at Central High School, where several Wellspring kids are a part of our team. I enjoy running, basketball, softball, golf, and usually have a book or two always at the ready for a free moment.
