Advisory Board

From the beginning, we have valued keeping church simple and vision driven. The Wellspring Advisory Board is currently made up of 5 members with plans to increase to 7 in 2024. Board members serve a 3-year minimum term, with options to continue as God leads. The Board meets monthly with the Lead Pastor and Associate Pastor to discuss issues relating to our vision and values as a church. Human resources, financial and property oversight, and staff care are our primary responsibilities. Wellspring operates as a Board-protected and Staff-directed mission. All daily ministry activities of the church are directed by our Lead Pastor.

New Board members are nominated and approved by current Board members. The process of Board selection is prayerful, identifying people with spiritual and emotional maturity, who are living out our values and vision with capacity to give time and energy to the work of the Board. Decisions are made by consensus rather than majority vote.

Our current Board is comprised of:

Erin Willoughby (chair)

Jeff Bridgman

Abby Winder

Rob Nichols

Wyatt Jones

Jack DeShon
