Children's Ministry

Vision:

Growing young people in their desire to know, love, and be like Jesus

Values:

Teaching truths and application of God's Word (2 Timothy 3:16)

Valuing kids and families and growing in community together (Hebrews 10:24-25)

Developing and supporting hearts of service (Matthew 25:40)

Parents being primarily responsible for the discipleship of their children (Deuteronomy 6:4-9)

We desire to teach kids the way of Jesus, show them how God revealed Himself through history, and that He is always working to fulfill His purposes for all creation. As we explore these ideas each week, we invite our kids to follow the way of Jesus and enter into a personal relationship with Him, no matter their age. Our staff and volunteers desire to build meaningful relationships with kids and parents. We strive for excellence in safety, loving care, fun and spiritual formation.

where are our classrooms located?

  • Birth through 5 year olds

Our birth through 5 year old classrooms are divided between the main floor and upstairs. If you're unsure where your child's classroom is located, please visit the check-in desk or find a volunteer with a blue lanyard and they will help you!

  • elementary

Our elementary children are dismissed to their classrooms after worship. All elementary classrooms are located in the basement!

  • community room

We understand that sometimes it's best for families to have their children with them in service. However, if a child is struggling or needs a quiet setting, we have a community room where parents are welcome to bring their children and still watch the service! There are activities for children and coffee for parents located in this room as well!

safety

Our children's safety is top priority for us. From when you drop off your child to when they are picked up, they will experience the love of Christ in a fun and safe environment. Please feel free to ask Blayr or Brittney for more information on our safety guidelines.

community for your child and family

Our church often hosts toddler play dates, elementary activities/events, parenting conferences, monthly parent newsletters, and more! Contact Blayr or Brittney to be added to our Rooted Communication so your child can participate in community with other kids, and so that you can be supported as parents in your call to disciple and shepherd your children!
