"Rooted" Children's Ministry

"Be rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness." (Colossians 2:7)

Growing young people in their desire to know, love, and be like Jesus

*Teaching truths and application of God's Word (2 Timothy 3:16)

*Valuing kids and families and growing in community together (Hebrews 10:24-25)

*Developing and supporting hearts of service (Matthew 25:40)

*Parents being primarily responsible for the discipleship of their children (Deuteronomy 6:4-9)

We desire to teach kids the way of Jesus and that God revealed himself through history and is working within history to fulfill His purposes for all creation. Each week, we explore this, and invite our kids to enter into it: following the way of Jesus and joining the work that God is doing in the world. We have a system that ensures the safety and security of your child and allows for ease of notifications to parents during worship services. Please contact Children's Director Brittney Robertson or Marissa Purvis with any questions. Here you will find:

Our middle school ministry continues to grow and develop. Middle schoolers meet the 1st and 3rd Sunday during the sermon to discuss age appropriate topics relevant to the challenges they face. Check the calendar for Bible studies and activities related to this age group. Please contact Zac Miller for more information.

In addition, Wellspring supports the ministry of Young Life in the greater St. Joseph area. Young Life, for high schoolers, and Wyldlife, for middle schoolers, is present in 5 local high schools, and 5 middle schools. We encourage our Wellspring teenagers to attend and support these ministries by inviting their unchurched friends to these weekly meetings and Bible studies.
